Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, packed
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ green apple, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseed
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • Sliced banana (optional)
  • Granola (optional)
  • Coconut flakes (optional)
  • Hemp seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender in the following order: almond milk, spinach, avocado, banana, apple (if using), seeds, lemon juice, and ginger.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust: add more milk for a thinner texture, or a few ice cubes for extra chill.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately, or refrigerate up to 24 hours.
