- 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, uncooked macaroni, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top, followed by the breadcrumbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
