- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crispy fried onions (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until the onion is translucent and the mushrooms are tender.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Add the drained green beans to the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and then sprinkle the crispy fried onions over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.

- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
