Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Hamburger Green Bean Casserole with Mushrooms, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until the onion is translucent and the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  5. Add the drained green beans to the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and then sprinkle the crispy fried onions over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
