Hissy Fit Dip is a creamy, flavorful dip made with sausage, cheeses, and spices, perfect for parties or gatherings.

- 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy, your choice)
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 10 oz can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or green onions (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked sausage, Rotel, cheddar, and mozzarella. Mix well to combine.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×9 or 8×8 baking dish. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness by choosing either mild or spicy sausage.
- This dip can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
