- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into pieces
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add the diced potatoes, green beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir everything to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
- If using cheese, remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the top, and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
