Ingredients

  • Quick-Cooking Oats: 6 cups
  • Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats: 2 cups

  • Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar: ½ cup, packed
  • Chopped Nuts or Seeds: 1 cup (optional)
  • Ground Cinnamon: 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Flaxseed Meal: ½ cup (optional)
  • Fine Sea Salt: 1 ½ teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oat Base: Take 2 cups of the quick-cooking oats and pulse in a food processor until coarse and powdery.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered oats, remaining quick-cooking oats, old-fashioned oats, milk powder, brown sugar, nuts/seeds (if using), cinnamon, flaxseed meal (if using), and salt.
  3. Whisk Thoroughly: Whisk the mixture for 2-3 minutes until evenly distributed.
