Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 gelatin sheets (or 1 tsp powdered gelatin)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh passion fruit puree
Instructions
- Soak gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes, or bloom powdered gelatin in a few tablespoons of cold water.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and sugar; stir until sugar dissolves (approximately 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract. Squeeze excess water from gelatin sheets or add bloomed powder to warm cream, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Stir in fresh passion fruit puree until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into serving dishes or jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Serve chilled, drizzled with additional passion fruit puree if desired.
Notes
- For a firmer panna cotta, increase the amount of gelatin.
- Substitute passion fruit puree with other fruit purees for different flavors.
- Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
