Description

Key Lime Truffles Dessert is a zesty and delightful treat that combines the creamy texture of white chocolate with the refreshing flavor of lime and the crunch of graham crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 60 ml heavy whipping cream
  • 60 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 14 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 tablespoons lime zest
  • 340 g white chocolate chips
  • 200 g crushed graham crackers

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, and lime juice until smooth.
  2. Place the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl and melt them using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully smooth.
  3. Add the softened unsalted butter to the melted chocolate and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gently fold the lime zest into the chocolate mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Gradually pour the wet ingredient mixture into the white chocolate base, stirring until thoroughly combined.
  6. Stir in the crushed graham crackers until the mixture is uniformly blended.
  7. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to handle.
  8. Once chilled, use a spoon to portion out the mixture and roll into small balls. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Notes

  • For a stronger lime flavor, increase the amount of lime juice or zest.
  • These truffles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Optionally, roll the truffles in additional crushed graham crackers for extra texture.
