Description
Delicious lamb feta sliders combining ground lamb with feta cheese and herbs, topped with fresh greens and tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 slider buns
- Fresh arugula or spinach for topping
- Tzatziki sauce for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, crumbled feta cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lamb patties to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns on a separate skillet or in the oven until golden brown.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a lamb patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with fresh arugula or spinach and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious flavors of these lamb feta sliders!
Notes
- Make sure not to overwork the lamb mixture to keep the patties tender.
