Description

Leek Beef Macaroni Creamy is a delicious comfort dish featuring macaroni, ground beef, and leeks in a rich and creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10.5 ounces macaroni
  • 14 ounces ground beef
  • 1 leek, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook macaroni until al dente. Drain and reserve.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and sliced leek, sautéing until the beef is browned and the leeks are tender. Drain excess fat.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and pour in heavy cream, beef broth, and a pinch of nutmeg. Stir to combine and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold cooked macaroni into the creamy beef and leek mixture. Toss until evenly coated and heated through, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables such as peas or carrots for additional flavor and nutrition.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes while cooking the beef.
