Description
Delicious Maple Balsamic Glazed Steak Bites are tender steak cubes seared to perfection and coated in a sweet and tangy glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper on all sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear each side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crusty. Remove the steak bites and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat slightly and melt the butter. Stir in balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the glaze to thicken slightly.
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the luscious glaze. Let them cook for another 1-2 minutes, just until warmed through and sticky. Sprinkle with fresh thyme, if desired, and serve hot.
