Description

A quick and tasty Margherita Veggie Pizza topped with fresh vegetables and mozzarella cheese, perfect for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your pre-made pizza crust (typically around 475°F or 245°C).
  2. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Arrange the fresh mozzarella slices over the sauce. Then add the halved cherry tomatoes, zucchini slices, and bell pepper slices on top of the cheese.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetables and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  6. Once out of the oven, scatter fresh basil leaves over the top. Let the pizza cool for a minute before slicing.
