Description

Delightful Marshmallow Easter Bars perfect for celebrating spring.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 11/2 cups white chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 1 tbsp shortening (only if using chocolate chips)
  • 31/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 4.5 oz Sixlets in Easter colors

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment and set aside.
  2. Melt your chocolate in a double boiler until it’s smooth and silky.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add marshmallows and 1/2 the container of Sixlets, stirring to coat.
  5. Note: Work quickly as the marshmallows will start to melt in the warm chocolate.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and smooth out.
  7. Top with additional Sixlets.
  8. Place in the freezer to firm up the chocolate quickly for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove from freezer and cut into squares; serve.

Notes

  • Store leftover bars in an airtight container.
  • Feel free to add other festive toppings like sprinkles.
