- 8 ounces goat cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried oregano)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Crusty bread or pita for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium baking dish, place the goat cheese in the center. Surround it with the cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and sun-dried tomatoes.
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, fresh oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Drizzle this mixture over the goat cheese and vegetables.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the goat cheese is soft and slightly golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
- Serve warm with crusty bread or pita for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes to the garlic mixture.
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
