Description

Mini Churro Fudge Bites are an irresistible treat, combining the best of churros and fudge in a bite-sized form.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge or Nutella, warmed slightly for piping
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt; bring to a boil.
  2. Lower the heat and add flour, stirring until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before adding eggs, mixing until smooth.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Spoon the dough into a piping bag and carefully pipe small bites into the hot oil.
  6. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Roll in a sugar and cinnamon mixture and drizzle with chocolate fudge or Nutella.

Notes

  • Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent the churros from becoming greasy.
  • Adjust the sugar and cinnamon mixture to taste.
  • Store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
