Description

A refreshing summer delight combining fresh mozzarella and mixed berries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh mozzarella balls, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Gently toss to mix the berries and cheese together without breaking the mozzarella.
  2. Add the fresh basil leaves to the bowl, and drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the salad. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
