Delightful No-Knead Cranberry & Herb Bread enhanced with garlic butter.
Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or thyme
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, cranberries, and herbs.
- Stir in the warm water until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Place a Dutch oven in the oven to heat for 30 minutes.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
- Place the dough on parchment paper, cover it, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Carefully transfer the dough (with the parchment) to the hot Dutch oven.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
- While the bread bakes, mix the garlic, softened butter, parsley, and a pinch of salt together.
- Let the bread cool slightly, then slice and serve warm with the garlic butter.
Notes
- For a twist, feel free to add other dried fruits or herbs.
