Description

One-Pot Smoky Honey BBQ Steak Pasta is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines tender flank steak, al dente pasta, and a smoky honey BBQ sauce all cooked in one pot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (your choice)
  • 1 lb (450g) flank steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 cup smoked honey BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak, seasoning with black pepper and salt. Sear for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the pot and set it aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pot and cook for another 2 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the pasta and the smoked honey BBQ sauce. Stir well and return to a simmer.
  5. Cover the pot and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Once the pasta is cooked, fold in the seared steak and smoked paprika. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
