Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are irresistible bite-sized snacks featuring a creamy feta and ricotta filling wrapped in crispy phyllo pastry, drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili honey.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
  • 6 sheets phyllo pastry, cut in half lengthwise
  • ¼ cup melted butter or olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta, ricotta cheese, and thyme leaves (if using). Stir until smooth.
  2. Unroll the phyllo pastry and keep covered with a damp towel. Cut each sheet in half lengthwise.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Place one strip of phyllo pastry, brush lightly with melted butter or olive oil.
  5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheese filling near one end of the phyllo, fold sides inward, and roll tightly.
  6. Place the rolled pastry seam-side down on the baking sheet and repeat with the remaining filling and phyllo.
  7. Brush the tops with more melted butter or oil, leaving space between rolls.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the honey and stir in red chili flakes for 1-2 minutes to infuse flavors.
  10. Remove rolls from the oven, let cool slightly, and drizzle with warm chili honey before serving. Garnish with extra thyme leaves if desired.
