  • 1/4 cup White granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 TBSP Ground cinnamon (for topping)

  • 4 oz Cream cheese, room temperature (for icing)
  • 4 TBSP Unsalted butter, room temperature (for icing)
  • 2 tsp Pure vanilla extract (for icing)
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar, sifted (for icing)
  • 12 TBSP Milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk in the microwave until 110°F. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar. Add the cubed butter and cut into the flour.
  3. Add the milk/yeast mixture and lightly beaten eggs. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200°F. Place dough in a sprayed bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. In a medium saucepan, mix peaches, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat. Cook for 5-10 minutes until it becomes a jam. Let cool.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix crumb topping ingredients and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool completely.
  7. Using a mixer, beat filling ingredients until smooth. Roll out dough, spread filling, followed by the cooled jam and half of the crumb topping.
  8. Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 even rolls. Place in a sprayed 9X13-inch pan and let rise for 20 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake rolls for 23-26 minutes until golden.
  10. For icing, beat butter and cream cheese, then add powdered sugar and vanilla. Add milk until desired consistency.
  11. Spread icing on hot rolls and sprinkle with remaining crumb topping. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For the dough, you can also make it by hand if you don’t have a stand mixer.
  • Feel free to use store-bought peach jam as a shortcut.
  • The rolls can be served warm for the best taste experience.
