Description
Peach Pie Cruffins are a delightful and easy-to-make pastry that combines the flavors of peach pie with the flaky texture of croissants.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough (or crescent sheet)
- 1/2 cup canned peach pie filling, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a standard muffin tin.
- Unroll the crescent dough into one large rectangle (if using triangles, pinch seams together).
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar. Brush the melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Spread the chopped peach pie filling evenly over the dough.
- Starting from the long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Slice in half lengthwise to expose the layers.
- Twist each half into a spiral, then roll into a rose-like shape and place into muffin cups, cut side up.
- Sprinkle the tops with remaining cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider using fresh peaches instead of canned filling.
- These cruffins are best served warm but can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
