Ingredients
Scale
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 226 grams cream cheese, softened
- 1.5 teaspoons peppermint extract
- 120 grams white candy melts
- 120 grams milk chocolate candy melts
- 30 grams crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor or blender until finely ground.
- Add the softened cream cheese and peppermint extract to the crushed cookies. Pulse until the mixture is thoroughly combined and forms a smooth dough.
- Using a small ice cream scoop or your hands, portion the dough and roll into balls. Place each ball onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet with formed truffle balls in the freezer for at least 1 hour, until firm.
- Melt both white and milk chocolate candy melts according to package instructions until smooth.
- Remove the chilled truffle balls from the freezer. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating.
- Place dipped truffles back onto the baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Allow the chocolate coating to harden completely before serving.

- These truffles can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
- Feel free to vary the types of candy melts used for different flavors.
