Description

Pepperoni Cheese Crisps are a crunchy and savory snack made with cheese and pepperoni, perfect for a quick bite or an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4050 slices of pepperoni (approximately 4 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, for a spicy kick
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses. Mix well.
  3. Add Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the cheese mixture. Toss to combine. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. If pepperoni slices are large, cut them in half.
  5. Place pepperoni slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small space between each slice.
  6. Sprinkle a generous amount of the cheese mixture evenly over each pepperoni slice.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown, and the pepperoni is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the crisps cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired.
  10. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. Reheat in a toaster oven or air fryer to restore crispness.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
  • For best results, use freshly shredded cheese.
  • These crisps are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be stored for a short time.
