Description

A delicious and comforting casserole made with mini bagels, pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings, perfect for any pizza lover.


Ingredients

  • 6 plain mini bagels, split and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped regular pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper (red or green)
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the bagel pieces evenly along the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Drizzle half of the pizza sauce over the bagels. Sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Distribute half of the pepperoni, olives, diced bell pepper, and sliced red onion over the cheese. Sprinkle with half of the Italian herbs.
  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining sauce, cheeses, toppings, and herbs to form a second layer.
  6. Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before sprinkling with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
