Description

Raspberry Pastry Twists are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert made with flaky puff pastry and sweet raspberry jam.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • ½ cup raspberry seedless jam (or any flavor)
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 tbsp confectioner’s sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface.
  3. Roll out the pastry into a 12×16 inch rectangle and cut it in half, creating 2 rectangles.
  4. Spread ¼ cup of jam evenly onto one rectangle.
  5. Place the second rectangle on top and press down lightly.
  6. Cut the pastry into ½ inch width strips, then cut each strip in half lengthwise.
  7. Pinch the ends of each strip and twist.
  8. Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Chill for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  10. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Let cool on a wire rack.
  13. Dust with confectioner’s sugar before serving (optional).

Notes

  • Experiment with different flavors of jam if desired.
  • These pastry twists are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
