Description

Rice Krispie Cheddar Crackers are a crunchy and flavorful snack made with sharp cheddar cheese and Rice Krispies cereal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add in the shredded cheddar and softened butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, being careful not to crush them too much.
  5. Roll the dough into small 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly with your fingers or the bottom of a glass.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until edges are golden and crackers are crisp.
  8. Cool completely on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
