A delicious and hearty sandwich combining scrambled eggs and melted cheese between slices of grilled bread.

- 4 slices of Bread (your choice—white, whole wheat, sourdough, etc.)
- 4 large Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese)
Instructions
- Prepare the Egg Mixture: Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add milk, a pinch of salt, and some pepper. Whisk until everything’s well combined and slightly frothy.
- Cook the Scrambled Eggs: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and melt half the butter. Pour in your egg mixture. Slowly stir with a spatula, scraping the bottom so the eggs cook evenly but stay soft and creamy. Once the eggs are just set, remove from the heat.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Lay out your bread slices. Evenly spread the scrambled eggs over half the bread, then sprinkle your shredded cheese on top of the eggs. Cap them off with the remaining bread slices.
- Grill the Sandwiches: Wipe out your skillet and return it to medium-low heat. Melt the remaining butter in the skillet. Add the sandwiches and press gently. Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until the bread is golden-brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Let the sandwiches cool for a moment. Slice them in half and enjoy that melty, savory magic!
Notes
- For extra flavor, try loading yours with cheddar, or sprinkle in fresh herbs and chopped tomatoes.
- Avoid overstuffing, or the eggs might tumble out.
