Description
A delightful and easy Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake that combines the flavors of shrimp, garlic, and lemon with pasta, topped with cheese.

- 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and just cooked through (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine, scraping up any bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir in cooked pasta, shrimp, Parmesan, and parsley. Mix to combine.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella (if using) and a bit more Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
- Garnish with additional parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute the shrimp with chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
