Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine salt, dried parsley, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder, and paprika thoroughly.
  2. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mix on both sides of each chicken breast.
  3. Pour the low-sodium chicken broth into the slow cooker, then place the seasoned chicken breasts into the broth.
  4. Cut the salted butter into small pieces and distribute them evenly on top of the chicken breasts.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set to low heat. Cook for 3 hours or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
