Description

A creamy and flavorful slow cooker dish featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a ranch dressing sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup green beans (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, add the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. If using, add the green beans to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. About 30 minutes before the cooking time is up, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt into the creamy sauce.
  7. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, you can add more cream cheese.
  • Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
