Description
Sour Patch Grapes are a fun and delicious treat that combines the sweetness of grapes with the tangy flavors of Jell-O, creating a delightful snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1–2 pounds green grapes (seedless, washed and dried)
- 1 (3 oz) box of cherry Jell-O (or any red flavor)
- 1 (3 oz) box of lime Jell-O
- 1 (3 oz) box of lemon Jell-O
- 1 (3 oz) box of orange Jell-O
- 1/4 cup water (for dipping)
- Optional: Toothpicks or skewers
Instructions
- Place grapes in the fridge for at least 30 minutes prior to coating – cold grapes help the gelatin stick better.
- Pour each Jell-O flavor into separate small bowls.
- Working in small batches, lightly dip a few grapes into water (or mist with a spray bottle).
- Immediately roll each grape in one of the Jell-O powders until fully coated. Use a fork or toothpick for easy handling.
- Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
- Repeat with remaining grapes and Jell-O flavors, alternating colors for variety.
- Chill the coated grapes in the fridge for 1–2 hours until set. Serve cold for the best sour-sweet crunch!
Notes
- For best results, use seedless grapes.
- Experiment with different Jell-O flavors for variety.
- These grapes are best served cold.
