Description
A delicious twist on classic deviled eggs, featuring a spicy chili garlic filling.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 large eggs
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1½ tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Smoked paprika, for garnish
- Crispy fried onions, for topping
- Toasted sesame seeds, for decoration
Instructions
- Hard-boil the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 10–12 minutes. Transfer eggs to an ice bath and cool completely.
- Prepare the filling: Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise and chili garlic sauce. Mix until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill the eggs: Spoon or pipe the spicy yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Garnish: Sprinkle with smoked paprika. Top each deviled egg with crispy fried onions and a pinch of toasted sesame seeds.
- Chill & serve: Refrigerate until ready to serve. Best enjoyed cold with a little extra chili garlic drizzle if you like it hotter!
Notes
- Adjust the amount of chili garlic sauce to suit your spice preference.
- These deviled eggs can be made a day in advance for convenience.
