Description

A delightful and easy recipe for a spinach and cheese frittata, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the chopped spinach and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the spinach is wilted.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables. Gently stir to combine.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta and shredded mozzarella evenly over the top of the egg mixture.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and lightly golden on top.
  8. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
