Description

Delicious Steak Cheese Quesadillas made on a Blackstone grill, featuring seasoned steak, melted cheese, and crispy tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound skirt steak, diced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1½ cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 4 burrito-size flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Blackstone grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F, and spread vegetable oil across the cooking surface.
  2. Place diced steak and onions on the grill, season with onion powder, salt, and pepper, and sauté for 4-8 minutes per side.
  3. Push the cooked steak and onions to one side of the grill and reduce the temperature to medium.
  4. On the cleared area, place the tortillas and layer each with mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, cooked steak and onion, then more cheese.
  5. Fold each tortilla in half and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip each quesadilla using a spatula and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the other side is golden brown.
  7. Remove the quesadillas to a cutting board, slice into wedges, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Ensure the grill is properly preheated for even cooking.
  • Monitor the quesadillas closely while cooking to prevent burning.
  • Feel free to add additional toppings like salsa or guacamole when serving.
