Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add sugar, salt, melted butter, and gradually mix in flour until smooth dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8 minutes until elastic; place in a greased bowl to rise (1 hour).
  4. Prepare filling by mixing softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and diced strawberries.
  5. Roll out risen dough and cut into squares; place filling in the center of each square.
  6. Fold squares into triangles; let rise again for 30 minutes before baking at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes.
