Ingredients

  • 57 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • A dash of ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 medium strawberries, sliced
  • 1 flour tortilla, fajita size
  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • A dash of ground cinnamon
  • Honey, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese with 1 teaspoon sugar, a dash of cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Slice the strawberries evenly and set aside.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over one side of the tortilla.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Melt 1 teaspoon butter in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar and a dash of cinnamon onto the melted butter. Place the plain side of the tortilla onto the mixture, cream cheese side facing up.
  6. Quickly arrange the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese filling. Cook and monitor the underside until the sugar turns light golden brown.
  7. Remove tortilla from heat. Fold in half and transfer to a plate. Drizzle with honey if desired and serve immediately.
