Description

A delightful and creamy salad that combines the flavors of strawberry and vanilla, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in the boiling water. Stir in the cold water. Place in the refrigerator for about 20–30 minutes until it is slightly thickened but not fully set.
  2. While the gelatin is chilling, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk together in another bowl until smooth and thickened. Set aside.
  3. Once the gelatin is slightly thickened, gently fold in the vanilla pudding mixture until well blended.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping, making sure everything is fully incorporated and creamy.
  5. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries, mini marshmallows, and shredded coconut if using.
  6. Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving, allowing the flavors to meld and the salad to firm up slightly.
  7. Spoon into bowls or cups, garnish with extra strawberries if desired, and enjoy this luscious, dreamy treat!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use low-fat whipped topping.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of strawberries based on your preference.
