Description

A refreshing summer salsa made with strawberries and pineapple, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1½ cups fresh pineapple, chopped
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp honey or agave (optional, for extra balance)

Instructions

  1. Dice strawberries and pineapple into small, even chunks. Finely dice the red onion, jalapeño, and chop the cilantro.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, pineapple, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. Toss gently to mix.
  3. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the salsa and add a pinch of salt. Drizzle with honey if using. Toss again to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15–20 minutes before serving. This helps the flavors meld beautifully.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips, spoon over grilled meat or seafood, or scoop into lettuce cups for a light, summery snack!

Notes

  • Perfect balance of juicy fruit, bright lime, and a kick of heat.
  • Versatile and refreshing—pairs well with chips, tacos, fish, or just a spoon!
  • It’s sunshine in a bowl and it disappears fast—enjoy!
