A delicious Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta dish that satisfies your cravings with a perfect blend of flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Steak:
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • For the Pasta & Sauce:
  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, sliced thin
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 12 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steak strips with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, then remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and red bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  6. If using, stir in heavy cream and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet, tossing everything together to coat in the sauce.
  8. Serve garnished with fresh parsley and optional add-ins like cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, or green onions.

Notes

  • For extra heat, adjust the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute chicken for steak if preferred.
  • Feel free to use any pasta shape you like, but avoid delicate types like angel hair.
