Description

Experience the decadent flavor of Tiramisu in a bite-sized treat with these delightful Tiramisu Truffles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp instant espresso powder or 2 tbsp strong brewed coffee
  • 1.5 cups finely crushed ladyfingers
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate (optional for coating)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Optional: splash of coffee liqueur, white or milk chocolate for variety

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and espresso powder until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in crushed ladyfingers until well combined and dough-like.
  3. Chill mixture for 15–20 minutes if too soft.
  4. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls and place on parchment-lined tray.
  5. Optional: Dip truffles in melted dark chocolate and return to tray.
  6. Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
  7. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For the creamiest truffles, always use room temperature mascarpone.
  • Add more crushed ladyfingers if the mixture is too soft to roll.
  • Dust only after chilling to keep the cocoa layer from turning moist.
