Description

A refreshing and irresistible whipped pink lemonade drink perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup pink food coloring (or to desired color)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lemon slices (for garnish, optional)
  • Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients, ensuring you have fresh lemons for the best flavor. A citrus juicer is recommended for maximum juice extraction.
  2. Squeeze the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds and pulp for a smooth lemonade.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved, which may take a few minutes.
  4. Once the sugar is dissolved, add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir again to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or water.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream. Ensure your mixing bowl and beaters are cold for better whipping.
  6. Using an electric mixer, beat the heavy cream on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 2-3 minutes. Avoid overbeating.
  7. Once soft peaks form, add in 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Continue to beat on low speed until well combined and thick.
  8. Gradually add in 1/4 cup of pink food coloring, mixing until you reach your desired shade of pink.
  9. Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the pitcher of lemonade using a spatula, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
  10. Taste the mixture again and adjust sweetness if needed with more sugar or condensed milk, or balance with a splash of lemon juice.
  11. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  12. Fill a glass with ice cubes, preferably clear glasses to showcase the beautiful pink color.
  13. Pour the whipped pink lemonade over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.
  14. Optionally, top each glass with a dollop of the remaining whipped cream mixture for an indulgent touch.
  15. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and a sprig of mint for added color and freshness.
  16. Serve immediately and enjoy!
