Description

A colorful and festive candy salad perfect for 4th of July celebrations, combining delightful sweets in red, white, and blue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup red Swedish fish
  • 1 cup blue raspberry sour belt candy, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup white yogurt-covered raisins or white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup red and blue gummy bears
  • 1/2 cup red licorice bites (like Twizzlers bites)
  • 1/2 cup blue rock candy clusters, roughly broken
  • 1/2 cup white pearlized gumballs or white Jordan almonds
  • 1/4 cup red, white, and blue confetti sprinkles or star-shaped sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup strawberry Starbursts, unwrapped and quartered
  • 1/4 cup blue Jolly Rancher hard candies, roughly crushed (optional for crunch)

Instructions

  1. Unwrap and prep all candies — cut sour belts into 1-inch pieces, quarter Starbursts, and roughly crush Jolly Ranchers if using.
  2. Add all candies to a large clear glass mixing bowl: Swedish fish, gummy bears, sour belt pieces, licorice bites, Starburst pieces, rock candy, yogurt raisins, and gumballs.
  3. Gently toss with a large wooden spoon or clean hands until the candy colors are evenly distributed throughout the bowl.
  4. Scatter red, white, and blue confetti sprinkles over the top and add crushed Jolly Ranchers for extra crunch and sparkle.
  5. Serve immediately in the bowl with small scoops or tongs for easy grabbing at parties — or portion into individual clear cups for a grab-and-go treat.
  6. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • For an extra festive touch, consider adding some fresh strawberries or blueberries.
  • This recipe is highly customizable; feel free to switch out the candies based on personal preference.
  • Make sure to use clear containers for serving to showcase the vibrant colors.
