Description
Deliciously crispy and creamy wontons filled with a sweet pineapple and cream cheese mixture, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- ¼ cup crushed or chunks pineapple drained
- ¼ cup green onion diced
- 30 wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, pineapple, and green onions in a medium-sized bowl. Combine well.
- Spoon the filling in the center of each wrapper. Brush water around the perimeter to lightly moisten the wrapper.
- Fold the top and the bottom of the wrapper up and pinch the edges together, then pinch the remaining sides together, creating a pocket to seal in the filling.
- Lightly brush the exterior of each wonton with olive oil, place them in the air fryer, set the temperature to 300°F, and cook until the wrappers are crisp with golden, crunchy edges (7-9 minutes).
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
Notes
- Experiment with different dipping sauces to complement the flavor.
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
