Description
Baked Peaches are a deliciously easy summer dessert featuring ripe peaches baked with butter, brown sugar, and spices until caramelized and tender.

- 4 peaches ripe but firm, halved and pitted
- 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter cut into small cubes
- 4 Tablespoons brown sugar light or dark
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
- Splash of bourbon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly butter a small baking dish just large enough to hold the peaches snugly.
- Place peach halves cut-side up in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the peaches.
- Dot each peach half with butter, then drizzle with vanilla, lemon juice and bourbon.
- Divide the brown sugar mixture on top of the peaches.
- Bake them for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the peaches are fork-tender and the tops are lightly caramelized.
- Serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- For an extra touch, you can add chopped nuts on top before baking.
- This dessert pairs beautifully with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Adjust the sweetness with the amount of brown sugar based on the ripeness of the peaches.
