Description

Delicious Banana Split Jello-Shots that combine the flavors of a classic banana split with a fun twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup whole milk very cold
  • ¾ cup banana pudding cream moonshine (I used Ole Smoky brand)
  • 3.4 oz instant banana cream flavored pudding mix
  • Squirt whipped topping (I used extra creamy Reddi Whip brand)
  • Chocolate sauce dessert topping (in a squirt bottle) (I used Ghirardelli brand)
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Fresh banana slices ¼ inch thick
  • Maraschino cherry drained of juice and patted dry

Instructions

  1. Set out 10 (2 oz. sized) jell-o shot cups onto a rimmed tray or platter. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together the whole milk, banana pudding cream moonshine and instant banana cream flavored pudding mix. Whisk for 2 minutes or until it is just starting to set up but is still pourable.
  3. Fill each of the jell-o shot cups with the banana split pudding mix.
  4. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, or up to overnight, to allow the pudding to fully set.
  5. Garnish each banana split jell-o shot with a squirt of whipped topping, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, rainbow sprinkles, a slice of fresh banana and a maraschino cherry.

Notes

  • Ensure the moonshine is well mixed with the milk and pudding for a smooth consistency.
  • These shots can be made a day in advance for easier party preparation.
  • Experiment with different pudding flavors for a unique twist.
