Description

Bomb Pop Jello Shots are a fun and festive summer treat that combine layers of blue raspberry and cherry jello with a creamy white layer, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Blue Jello Layer
    1 3 oz Blue Jello box
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • ¾ cup Cold Water
  • ¼ cup chilled Berry Vodka
  • White Layer
    1 envelope Unflavored Gelatin Powder
  • ½ cup Cold Water
  • ½ cup Malibu Rum
  • ½ cup Boiling Water
  • ¼ cup chilled Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Red Jello Layer
    1 3oz Cherry Jello box
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • ¾ cup Cold Water
  • ¼ cup Chilled Cherry Vodka

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized bowl add the blue jello.
  2. Pour in the boiling water and mix to combine.
  3. Add the cold water and vodka to the blue jello. Stir to combine.
  4. Fill the 2 ounce plastic cups ⅓ of the way full with the blue jello.
  5. Refrigerate the jello for 1 hour.
  6. In another bowl, add the gelatin powder, cold water, and Malibu rum, whisk until combined.
  7. Pour in the boiling water and whisk to combine. Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir.
  8. Pour the white layer on top of the set blue layer filling another ⅓ rd of the way.
  9. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  10. In a separate bowl, add the cherry jello and pour in boiling water. Mix to combine.
  11. Add the cold water and cherry vodka to the cherry jello. Stir to combine.
  12. Fill the Jello shots to the rim with the red jello.
  13. Refrigerate the jello for 2 hours or until completely set.

Notes

  • Make sure to let each layer set before adding the next one to avoid mixing the colors.
  • These can be made a day ahead of time for convenience.
  • Use a mixer to whisk the layers for a smoother texture.
