Description

Boozy Cherry Bombs are delicious chocolate-covered cherries soaked in rum, perfect for parties and celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Large Jars of Maraschino Cherries – with Stems – 30 – 33 count
  • 1 package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • ½ cup of Malibu Rum
  • Bright blue sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Remove the red maraschino cherries from the jars with small tongs and place cherries on a paper towel to dry.
  2. In a large microwave safe bowl, add the white chocolate melting wafers and place in the microwave to melt in 20-second intervals, stopping to stir the white chocolate.
  3. When it’s completely melted, remove it from the microwave and stir in the Malibu Rum.
  4. Place the blue sanding sugar in a shallow dish.
  5. Take a cherry by the stem, and dip cherry two-thirds of the way into the white chocolate, and then dip it into the blue sugar. Continue until all the cherries have been dipped.
  6. Place the dipped cherries on a parchment paper lined baking sheet to set.
  7. When the chocolate has begun to set, about 30 minutes, place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator.
  8. Keep refrigerated until time to serve.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!

  • Store the boozy cherry bombs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Garnish with additional blue sugar for presentation if desired.
