Description

Buffalo Chicken Bacon Mozzarella Bombs are a savory delight that feature a delicious mixture of ground chicken, crispy bacon, and gooey mozzarella wrapped in a crunchy coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken (Consider substituting with ground turkey)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble it well)
  • 8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (Adjust heat level to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Start by cutting the mozzarella into 1-inch cubes and crumble the cooked bacon. Set both aside to make wrapping easier.
  2. Wrap Cheese: Take a piece of crumbled bacon and ensure it wraps around each mozzarella cube completely.
  3. Mix Filling: In a mixing bowl, blend ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and half of the buffalo sauce until smooth.
  4. Form Bombs: Flatten a handful of the chicken mixture in your palm. Place the bacon-wrapped mozzarella in the center and encase it with the chicken, rolling into a ball.
  5. Coat Bombs: Roll each bomb in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Cook: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the bombs for about 5–6 minutes until golden brown. Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes.
  7. Finish & Serve: Drizzle the remaining buffalo sauce over the bombs and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the heat level of the buffalo sauce according to your preference.
  • For a healthier option, consider baking instead of frying.
