Description

Candy Grapes are a vibrant and delightful treat that combines the natural sweetness of grapes with a burst of flavored gelatin, making for a fun and easy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (~1 lime)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (~1 lemon)
  • 1½ ounces raspberry powdered gelatin (½ of a 3 ounce box)
  • 1½ ounces lime powdered gelatin (½ of a 3 ounce box)
  • 1½ ounces lemon powdered gelatin (½ of a 3 ounce box)
  • 1½ ounces orange powdered gelatin (½ of a 3 ounce box)
  • 1½ ounces blueberry powdered gelatin (½ of a 3 ounce box)
  • 3 cups green grapes (about 20 ounces)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime and lemon juice.
  2. Pour the powdered gelatin into separate bowls or small cups.
  3. Prepare the grapes by sticking a toothpick into each grape, at the top where the stem used to be attached.
  4. Dunk the grapes into the lime and lemon mixture and then roll into the gelatin powder, alternating between flavors (one flavor per grape).
  5. Chill the covered grapes for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator or until completely chilled.
  6. Once the grapes are chilled, remove the toothpicks and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to use any combination of gelatin flavors based on your preferences.
  • These candies can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
