- 200g chowmein noodles
- 300g boneless chicken, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the chowmein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced onion to the skillet, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the bell pepper, cabbage, and carrot, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked chowmein noodles to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, black pepper, and salt. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice levels by adding more chili sauce if desired.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or broccoli for additional nutrition.
- Serve with extra soy sauce on the side for those who like more flavor.
